Getting your website online is like a house:

When you build a house you have to purchase the land. In a similar way, you need to purchase space on the Internet for your website to be stored and viewed. Webhosts sell this space and your website is uploaded and stored on their server, which has direct access to the Internet. 

After much research, I concluded that Bluehost was the best value. They offer unlimited space, easy navigation, great customer service, and even a free domain. Address
The post office issues you a mailing address so that family, friends, and the mailman can find your place. You purchase a domain (e.g. www.modernmango.com), which costs about $10 or less per year, and is your website's address so that people can go on the Internet and find your site.

Designer
After you secure the land and address, someone has to build the house. This is where I come in and build your website.
